Escape the Void

This game was created for the IndieTales Game Jam!
You are stranded on a planet that is dying from a dark corrupt force. Collect Gems and bring them back to your ship to fuel it's battery and escape before the Corruption seeps into you soul.
This game jam game is inspired by my main passion project called Vanquished, which you can check out here:

Cool game. Nice execution, I like that black wall spawning stuff. It is a bit confusing on why do I lose tho ? I first lost because I think I died ? But there was no death or lose screen it just auto restarted, the second time I had a game over screen, not sure why, maybe I clicked to restart on the first time so I missed the screen ? Anyway cool game for a short jam like this one.
Hey! Thanks for playing the game. And I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, the game over screen sometimes gets clicked through since you have to spam click to shoot without the power up. It's something that didn't cross my mind when developing in such a short time. But I super appreciate the feedback since I hope to make a full game out of this. I'm thinking having some sort of gun reload time would also help to reduce spam clicking and make shots more impactful.
