Critter Crashout
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
SYNOPSIS
Critter Crashout is a fast-paced action arcade beat 'em up that will star a cast of chaotic critters with individual move sets, breaking and entering through stylized VHS-taped heists. Chain high-speed slides, risky aerial ground pounds, and razor-sharp decisions to pull of stylish, highscore-driven carnage.
IMMERSIVE
Play through each heist as a VHS tape that is of the past. Look through each case file level and select it to load up the VHS and play through the heist.
The final game will also include other analog devices from the late 90s and early 2000s to represent the main menu of the game.
EARLY GAMEPLAY DEMO
This demo aims to capture the feel of the final game, and only features a single level for the first player character, Gruntled the Turtle. Feel free to leave feedback and constructive criticism in the comments!

For the MacOS build, since we do not have a developer account and cannot sign our code, MacOS will not trust files downloaded from the internet by default.
IF you TRUST the source, you can disable this by opening the terminal and running the following command:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine [FILE NAME HERE]
ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH USING THE COMMAND LINE
Build signing and notarization will fix this and it will not be an issue in the full version, if a MacOS release has enough interest.
